1 Legal Notice

This Speeds Medical Supplies website is owned and operated by Speeds Hospital Pharmacy Ltd. As a user of this website you are agreeing to comply with the conditions of use of this website and any transactions and services provided are subject to the conditions below.

2 Orders

2.1 These terms and conditions shall apply to all orders for Goods received by Speeds Medical Supplies (hereinafter called the ‘Company) by the customer (hereinafter called the ‘Customer’) in the United Kingdom.

2.2 Each order for Goods will be deemed to be an offer by the customer to purchase the Goods upon these Terms and Conditions (the 'Order'). A contract shall not be formed until the customer's order is accepted in writing by the Company (the 'Contract').

2.3 Orders may be placed by the Customer in the following ways:

3 Specification of Goods

3.1 The Company makes every effort to supply the Goods as advertised but reserves the right without prior notice to vary product specifications and to withdraw any item without explanation or notification.

3.2 All images displayed on this website are purely for illustration purposes only and therefore do not form part of the product description.

3.3 Subject to the right of Customers to return goods for refund under the Distance Selling Regulations (2000) (see 9.2 below), products are not sold on a trial basis. Customers are advised to check the Specifications of any products for suitability before placing an order.

4 Prices

The prices set out in this website and the Company’s catalogues are for guidance only, the Company reserves the right to change any price without prior notice. All prices quoted on this website are subject to the addition of VAT at the prevailing standard rate. All Goods and services, together with VAT are invoiced in Great British Pounds Sterling.

5 Payment

5.1 The Company accepts BACS payments, Credit/Debit cards including MasterCard, Maestro, Visa, Delta and Switch , cheques can be made payable to Speeds Medical Supplies.

5.2 A credit account facility may be available subject to application and status. Requests for credit accounts should be addressed to: Speeds Medical Supplies, 4 Minerva Court, Minerva Avenue, Chester CH1 4QT. Payment of credit accounts is required 30 days from date of invoice.

5.3 At any time the Company reserves the right to grant or deny customer accounts and the facility may be withdrawn if the above terms are breeched.

6 Cancellation of Orders

The Company will use all reasonable endeavours to meet Customers' individual requirements but the Company shall be under no obligation to accept cancellation or other amendment to any order or any part of an Order once accepted by the Company. Where such cancellation or amendment to an Order is agreed by the Company, it is on the understanding that a reasonable cancellation or amendment charge may be levied at the Company's sole discretion.

7 Delivery and Carriage

7.1 The Company strives to provide the highest service attainable thus every consignment is sent via secure courier. This way we can be sure you receive your orders fast, safe and secure.

7.2 The Company may quote an estimated delivery date or time and this is purely an estimate only. The Company will not accept any liability for failure to deliver within the stated time. If the Company is unable to deliver the goods within 30 days of the order being placed, the Customer may cancel the order and request a refund of any monies paid to the Company with respect to that order.

7.3 The Company dispatches orders via secure courier service. We anticipate all orders will arrive as specified, however the Company cannot accept any liability for any delayed or lost deliveries.

7.4 All deliveries received by the Customer are accepted by signature, upon delivery the risk of loss, breakage and all damage shall pass to the Customer.

7.5 All Goods supplied by the Company to the Customer, shall remain property of the Company until all payment is received in full from the Customer.

8 Carriage Charges

8.1 Delivery is free of charge to orders over £150 ex VAT to anywhere within mainland UK.

8.2 The Company reserves the right to make a small order carriage charge of:

 £4.99 on orders up to £75
 
 £7.50 on orders between £75 and £150.
 
All carriage charges are subject to VAT

8.3 Any orders that are not addressed to mainland UK may incur additional costs. These costs will be advised to the Customer prior to dispatch.

8.4 Special orders or Goods shipped directly from the manufacturer may incur additional carriage charges, and these costs will be made aware to the Customer prior to dispatch.

9 Returns and Refunds Policy

The Company is committed to providing the highest attainable service to the Customer. In the rare unfortunate event we do not meet these standards, in keeping with our high level of service the Company provides the following return and refunds policy.

9.1 In the event of non-arrival of Goods, Customers must inform the Company within 3 days of the date of the invoice or advice of dispatch, otherwise no claim can be considered.

9.2 Subject to the Distance Selling Regulations (2000) the Customer has the right to cancel any order at any time up to 7 days after the order is received. The Customer has the right to cancellation if notice is given to the company by letter, fax or e-mail, however notice by phone is not acceptable. If this notice is given after the delivery of the order, then the Customer is responsible for returning the order and settling any associated charges. The quality of the returned order must be unopened and in perfect re-saleable condition.

9.3 Returns and refunds claims cannot be made on refrigerated Goods, special orders or Goods received direct from the manufacturer.

9.4 The Company accepts no liability for Goods lost in transit.

9.5 The Company will issue credit from up to 14 days after receiving and inspection of the returned Goods.
